Amitabh Bachchan Buys Land in Ayodhya for Charity

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has made another investment in Ayodhya by purchasing a large piece of land, reportedly for charitable purposes. This is his second land purchase in the city since the consecration of the Ram Mandir in 2024.

According to reports, the land, measuring 54,454 square feet, was bought through the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust, which was established in 2013 in honor of his father. The land is located about 10 kilometers from the Ram Mandir. His previous purchase in Ayodhya was at Haveli Avadh, valued at ₹4.54 crore.

Officials have confirmed the sale but mentioned that the exact purpose of the land will be clear once building plans are approved. Sources suggest that while the Haveli Avadh property is for residential use, the new land will be used for charitable activities.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan recently appeared in the sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD, where he played Ashwatthama. He was also seen in Vettaiyan alongside Rajinikanth, portraying the role of Sathyadev Bramhadutt Pande. His performances have been well received by audiences.
