Tara Prasad, a 25-year-old Indian-American figure skater, has gained recognition for her remarkable achievements in the sport. She gave up her US citizenship in 2019 to represent India and has since won the national skating championship three times.

Business tycoon Anand Mahindra recently praised Tara’s dedication and talent, expressing his support for her journey toward the 2026 Winter Olympics. He acknowledged her success and encouraged her to bring India into the spotlight in winter sports.

Born on February 24, 2000, Tara’s family hails from Tamil Nadu but later moved to the US. Despite this, she chose to compete for India. In 2024, she won silver medals at the Reykjavik International and Skate Celje competitions. She also reached the final rounds of the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships in 2022 and 2023.

With her determination and skill, Tara Prasad continues to make India proud on both national and international platforms.
